Terms of use

These terms cover salons that use Hours of Business to take bookings, and the people who work there. Clients who book through a salon's page don't need an account; their booking is with the salon, and the salon's own policies apply.

The pilot

• Hours of Business is in a pilot. Features may change, and things may occasionally break while we improve them.
• Using Hours of Business is free during the pilot. We'll publish pricing and give notice before any charge applies; nothing is billed without your agreement.
• Either of us can stop at any time. You can ask us to delete your salon and its data.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your salon's account, including what your team does in it.
• The salon owner decides who joins the team and what they can see.

Your salon's information and your clients

• Your services, prices, photos and client records belong to your salon. You give us permission to store and show them only to run Hours of Business for you.
• You're responsible for having your clients' permission to contact them about their appointments, and for following the laws that apply to your business.
• Only upload photos you own or have permission to use.

Fair use

• Don't use Hours of Business to send spam, to collect information about people without their knowledge, or for anything unlawful.
• Don't try to access other salons' data or interfere with the service. We may suspend a booking page that breaks these terms.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep bookings accurate and the service running, but during the pilot Hours of Business is provided as it is, without warranties. Please keep your own record of important appointments. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost business or indirect losses caused by using Hours of Business.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell salon owners by email before the change applies.
